What Is Search Engine Optimization (SEO)????

SEO stands for “search engine optimization”.

It is the process of getting internet traffic (visitors) from the “free,” “organic,” “editorial” or “natural” listings on search engines. All major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing have such results, where web pages and other content such as videos or local listings are shown and ranked on SERP on basis of what the search engine considers most relevant to users. Payment isn’t involved, as it is with paid search ads.

A booming search engine optimization campaign will have, as part of the upgrading, carefully select, relevant, keywords which the on-page optimization will be designed to make important for search engine algorithms.

Search engine optimization is broken down into two basic areas: on-page, and off-page optimization.

On-page optimization refers to website elements which include a web page, such as HTML code, textual content, and images.
Off-pageoptimization refers, mainly to backlinks (links pointing to the site which is being optimized, from other relevant websites).

How does off-page SEO help target keywords?

The process google crawl begins with a list of web page URLs, then generates from previous crawl processes, and improved with Sitemap data provided by webmasters.
As the Google Crawler (Bots) visits of each these websites, it identifies links on each page and adds them to its list of pages to crawl. Original sites, changes to existing sites, and dead links are noted and applied to update the Google index.
The natural links to website develop as part of the dynamic nature of the web when other sites find your content important and think it would be useful for their visitors.
The keywords and phrases other sites use when they link to yours (or the anchor text that you use when linking back to your own site) affect how google sees your page. Incoming links to your site, also known as backlinks, help google determine your site's relevance to the user's query.

7 Forum Marketing Tips For Network Marketers

           1. Read the rules. That should be a no brainer, as not following the rules can get you banned from online marketing forums altogether.

           2. Be transparent. Don’t hide behind an avatar, company logo, picture of your dog or any other such nonsense. People want to know who you are. They are much more likely to connect with you when they can see your face.

           3. Be kind and polite to fellow members. Think twice before cutting someone down, leaving a rude comment, or being darn right nasty. Remember, these are real people you are interacting with. Just like you, they do have feelings. Offensive language doesn’t get you anywhere. It can actually get you banned from the forum as well.

           4. Never sell or promote anything. People don’t like to be spammed. An online marketing forum is not an ad board, but a place to communicate, share experiences and help and support other members.

           5. Always give value. If you have helpful information that you can add to forums, or the solution to someone’s problem ,  by all means share it. Share freely without expecting anything in return. The more you contribute the better people will get to know you.

           6. Be appreciative. If someone helped you out, please let them know that you appreciate their help and support. A little “thank you” can go a long way.

           7. Create an attractive signature file. This is the place where you can link to your opportunity, your website or your blog. The only place where you can toot your own horn. So make it interesting for people to want to find out more about you or your business.

        Google Fiber

Google Fiber starts with Internet speeds 100 times faster than what most Americans have today. In this video, we see the evolution of the Internet represented in three different stages. It started with Dial-Up, grew with Broadband — and with

Google Fiber, the possibilities are endless.

        How to get Google Fiber

When we announced that we wanted to provide a community with Internet access more than 100 times faster than what most Americans enjoy today, we asked who was interested in working with us. More than 1,100 cities raised their hands, and those of you in Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri won us over with your enthusiasm for better, faster web connections.

Today as we launch Google Fiber in Kansas City, we’re continuing with the same approach. Instead of us deciding where and when we install, we’re asking you.

Tell us if you want Google Fiber in two easy steps:

        1. Pre-register: Starting today, if you live in an eligible Kansas City household, you can pre-register by visiting google.com/fiber. All you need to do for pre-registration is provide some basic information and pay a $10 deposit.

        2. Rally your neighbors: Over the next six weeks, get your neighbors and friends to pre-register too.

Google Fiber works better when communities are connected together. So we’ve divided Kansas City into small communities we call “fiberhoods.” We’ll install only where there’s enough interest, and we’ll install sooner in fiberhoods where there’s more interest. You can check out your fiberhood’s pre-registration goal, as well as a real-time status update of all Kansas City fiberhoods on our rankings page.
The rally lasts for six weeks and ends on September 9. When you participate, not only will you help bring Google Fiber to your home, you’ll also help bring it to your community—if your fiberhood reaches its pre-registration goal, we’ll also connect community buildings like schools, libraries and hospitals with free Gigabit Internet.

After the rally, we’ll let you know if your fiberhood has reached its goal. If so, you can sign up for your service package. The first homes will get service shortly after the rally ends, and all qualifying neighborhoods will receive service before the end of 2013.
In the meantime, you can come visit Kansas City’s Google Fiber Space, where you can experience a gigabit first-hand and check out TV in crystal clear high definition. The Fiber Space will be open daily starting this Saturday, July 28. We’ll also be holding events throughout the community during the rally. Stay tuned for more on the Google Fiber KC Blog.
And remember, if you want Google Fiber, you need to pre-register your home by September 9 and tell your neighbors to pre-register too. Let’s do this for Kansas City! Posted by Kevin Lo, General Manager, Google Access.
