The process google crawl begins with a list of web page URLs, then generates from previous crawl processes, and improved with Sitemap data provided by webmasters.
As the Google Crawler (Bots) visits of each these websites,
it identifies links on each page and adds them to its list of pages to crawl. Original
sites, changes to existing sites, and dead links are noted and applied to
update the Google index.

nature of the web when other sites find your content important and think it
would be useful for their visitors.
