What Is Search Engine Optimization (SEO)????

SEO stands for “search engine optimization”.

It is the process of getting internet traffic (visitors) from the “free,” “organic,” “editorial” or “natural” listings on search engines. All major search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing have such results, where web pages and other content such as videos or local listings are shown and ranked on SERP on basis of what the search engine considers most relevant to users. Payment isn’t involved, as it is with paid search ads.

A booming search engine optimization campaign will have, as part of the upgrading, carefully select, relevant, keywords which the on-page optimization will be designed to make important for search engine algorithms.

Search engine optimization is broken down into two basic areas: on-page, and off-page optimization.

On-page optimization refers to website elements which include a web page, such as HTML code, textual content, and images.
Off-pageoptimization refers, mainly to backlinks (links pointing to the site which is being optimized, from other relevant websites).
